Hazard Law is a boutique law firm serving families, business owners and corporate fiduciaries across Tennessee. The primary focus of our practice involves the design, implementation and administration of traditional estate planning and business structures. In addition, we specialize in asset protection and tax-minimization planning. We provide custom solutions for high net-worth families.

Estate Planning & Probate

Rob offers families and individuals comprehensive estate planning solutions tailored to their particular needs and goals. Rob holds Accredited Estate Planner and Estate Planning Law Specialist designations with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, and is recognized as an Estate Planning Specialist by the Tennessee Board of Certification and Specialization.

Business Law

As an attorney and CPA, Rob also specializes in helping businesses grow and prosper. Rob has considerable experience advising on all types of general business matters including formation and structure, mergers and acquisitions, general contractual drafting and negotiation, and planning to minimize tax exposure.

Experience

Prior to founding Hazard Law, Rob practiced for over a dozen years at a full-service firm in Nashville where he served as the Section Leader of the Trust and Estate Practice Group. Rob previously worked as a CPA at Ernst & Young, LLP in New York and worked as a law clerk for the Internal Revenue Service’s Small Business/Self-Employed Division in St. Louis.
